What is Forestry Mulching?
Forestry mulching is an efficient source of vegetation management that makes trees, brush, and heavy branches turn into a beautiful layer of ground covering. The mulching process eliminates the need to bring in multiple large pieces of equipment like dozers, excavators, chippers, grinders, etc. Instead of burning or hauling the material off by truck, one piece of forestry mulching equipment can do the job while putting the bi-product of a fine mulch back into the soil. This mulch creates a protective layer of organic material that breaks down in the soil, making it more fertile and less susceptible to erosion for the landowner. Forestry mulching is also used for more things than just land clearing. Many state forest agencies use our equipment to mitigate the risk for wild fires. By mulching the undergrowth in our forests, we are at less of a risk of wildfires starting.
