Randy McKenzie started Quality Equipment & Parts in 2001 with the idea to purchase used forestry equipment on its way to the junk yard. He would then strip down anything that was still salvageable to keep his own logging equipment up and running. Soon, local loggers came to him for parts. As the word spread, he began to establish himself as a go-to source for hard-to-find parts and expertise. This resourcefulness allowed him to save money and continue his work, while also providing a valuable service to others in the industry. It did not take Randy long to see a real need in the industry, and he opened our first location in Lake City, Florida.
