Job Description:

Quality Equipment & Parts is expanding in Ocala, and we’re looking for a customer-focused Parts Counter Sales Representative to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers solve problems, has a strong attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering dependable service.

In this role, you’ll assist customers in identifying and purchasing the right parts for their equipment, provide accurate information on pricing and availability, and ensure orders are processed efficiently from start to finish. You’ll be a key part of the customer experience — building relationships, supporting equipment uptime, and helping customers keep their operations running.

We’re looking for someone who is organized, personable, and solution-driven, with the ability to communicate clearly and work confidently in a fast-paced dealership environment. Mechanical knowledge or parts experience is helpful, but a strong commitment to customer service and accuracy is essential.

Summary:

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts for their equipment
• Provide accurate pricing, availability, and lead time information
• Process counter sales, quotes, and orders in the dealership system
• Verify part numbers and quantities before releasing orders
• Notify customers when parts arrive and follow up on backorders
• Maintain a clean, organized counter and showroom area
• Support inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies or low-stock items
• Deliver professional, friendly service that builds long-term customer relationships

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work accurately and efficiently
• Comfortable using computers and dealership or POS systems
• Ability to learn parts lookup systems and equipment applications
• Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with equipment parts preferred
• Previous parts, automotive, equipment, or retail sales experience a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
